Hey, all.

Not to scare you, but there is a chance that Eventide might need to get restarted from scratch. This is a worse-case scenario at the moment, and we will do everything to prevent from doing so. It was discovered some malignant (likely accidental) code was sending the entire server into overload... the game presently only stays up for moments at a time before crashing the other games on the server, which is why it is taking some time to fix it.

How many of you have your character information saved somewhere on your computer? (if not, don't worry, we can maybe try to @decompile your char or at least you will be able to RP again with minimal info set on your char).

We are hoping to be back -- one way or the other -- by tomorrow (Tuesday) night. See you then!

I'm pretty sure I have all my char's information. I know there backgounds are four sure on the wiki site at least and other stuff is floating around my computer that I can track down.

I'm sure all my stuff is on the wiki too, but I might just not become a wolf and change to a plan human with a new name and mess with my background if we real have to restart. not to say i din't like being a were but i think I might have more fun being a plan human and might get more rp from it.

Inari I have all the bg and skills, etc. What I don't have for Inari is the +finger Info, but I am sure I can rebuild that easily.

Emma I have nothing on. I've reinstalled Windows since I created her. Ditto with Kiri but I don't need Kiri.

If you have to rebuild, might I suggest TinyMUSH insteaad of Penn? Most games I've played on in the past who were built on Penn usually wound up lagging out and crashing... I don't know if it's coincidental or what, but that's been one of my concerns.
